About The Proofing Hub
Practical, honest guides to the machines that mix and shape dough, written by people who sell them and answer buyers' questions every day.
Who we are
The Proofing Hub is run by the team behind TheLoveOfDough, an eBay store that sells Sunmix spiral mixers and Moon dough ball rounders. Our machines ship crated from Miami, Florida.
How we make money
When you buy a machine from our eBay store, we make money. That's the only way this site earns anything: there are no paid placements, and no other brand pays us to appear here. Every "See it on eBay" button goes to one of our own listings.
How we keep it honest
- Specs come from the manufacturer. Dough capacities, power ratings and sizes are Sunmix's published figures, not our guesses.
- We say when you don't need us. If a smaller mixer, a hand-rounding routine or the stand mixer you already own will do the job, we'll tell you.
- No fake reviews. We don't publish testimonials we can't back up, and we don't pretend to be an independent review site.
- We fix mistakes. If you spot an error, message us through our eBay store and we'll correct the page.
Questions about a machine?
The fastest way to reach us is through eBay messages on any of our listings. Tell us what you bake, how much and how often, and we'll point you to the right size, even if it's not one we sell.
